| Lavender plants love sun. Plant them in well drained soil
with a little bone meal. Lavender plants don't like their feet kept
wet. Lavenders grow best in an alkaline soil that is well drained. Lavender
will not grow well in shade where it is prone to fungal disease. Lavender
bushes can be planted singly or as a hedge, depending on the variety.
